Why did you go for an E series bottom end?

Everyone seems to go the other way and start with an AU bottom end.

Sounds like it would be nice to drive with the smaller housing while retaining big power. Good Stuff.

at the time i could only get jmm pistons and they are for e series. but it also has shorter rods which have to be stronger.
with the small housing i was told that it wouldn't make the power, but it's doing it with a fair bit more left. and yeah with the manual it was full noise at 2200, so awsome around the street, its auto now c10.
