Anyone changed the pulley on a PD blower before? I've got I think a PD 11 A. I got the 2.7" pulley from CAPA, removed my 2.9" off it and the old pulley has an indent in the back, while the new one doesn't. The shaft has a shoulder, so without the indent the pulley would sit to far forward. Aside from that it's identical, but a bit smaller.
Just wondering does anyone know if there's a few different types of pulleys around or what the go is? At $150 for the thing I'll be pretty p****d if I have to pay to have it machined out.

Just ask CAPA perhaps as they'd be happy to help?

I put mine on my Vortech, Has a keyway in the pulley and a key that goes on the pulley shaft. and has a retainer washer and bolt with loctite.

Any probs and I'd be ringing CAPA.

Yeah, I plan to call them, just that they had shut by the time I got it off. I'm waiting for them to open at the moment.

All sorted, the right 1 is on it's way now. Seems there's a difference on the shafts between the blower they use on the 6 cylinder EF's and the other ones.
