Im gonna need a new manifold so I sent off an email to snort performance.

He quoted me $990 for a stage 3 manifold and $1299 for a stage 4 manifold

Does anyone know what the difference is?

:D

Gonna try to make it work. Get the motor thursday. I hoping it will go in without a hole in the bonnet. then Ill return the car to stock. ;)

I got a reply from Snort. His manifolds look pretty hot. fit XF-BF's, and T3's to TA45's!

Yep, thats the one.

He sent me the reasons why it was better than the stage 3 manifold as well.

thicker grade s/steel s10 steampipe
split pulse merge collector
larger port diameter
multi-fit turbo flange ( suits t3-t4 up to gt45 )
bolt on external wastegate option ( twin 35mm -50mm )
multi-fit headplate suits xf-bf falcon

so does that mean the BA fits under the EA bonnet?

howd it go with the Kframe? did it clear it or did you need a custom one?

The bonnet wont close fully and the front crossmember needs to be relocated.

The BA sump is different to the AU motor and fins cant be grinded for clearance. There is a hump on the front of the sump that doesnt clear.

Yeah Ill finish it. Its a piece of cake compared to that torry project.

All I gotta do is relocate the front crossmember, fit the clutch, gearbox and tailshaft, thermofans, then send it to get the ECU fitted.
