nah its not a SC14.

the receipts are for $2500 for the supercharger.

a SC14 costs like $250...hell you can pick up new units for $450 of ebay.

im going to track down a smaller pulley, probably a sigma aircon pulley. then take it down to hyperdrive to be tuned with the smaller pulley.

hopefully should see near or close to 200kw. i mean it is a fresh tickford with full exhaust and intake. so should pull well with new pulley and remapped J3.

plus thanks to the J3...no fuel cut off...that is if i ever feel the urger to go over 180 :)

Please don't.. Because when the rear extension housing lets go after 180, it won't be pretty..

ahhhhh so thats why its limited to 180.

i thought it was more or less that the single piece tailshaft eats it over speeds of 180.

but i have the tickford tailshaft and computer. so im fairly sure that the XR stock comp wasnt limited to 180??

probably wrong.

but iam really never running that late, so it shouldnt be an issue :D im a bit of a nanna in my cars.

more or less just bragging rights and cruising around at 50 saying...yeah well i could go 400km/h if i WANTED to.

Yes sir she is in the driveway :) I have been driving her straight for 3 hours haha, she ain't no slug that's for sure, but you have to drive it hard. I.e get the supercharger spinning. Hwy cruising is amazing, slight deppression of accelerator and you briskly pass everyone, sooo much torque. Sounds mean aswell. Love the factory stereo on the ghia aswell with the amp haha really cool. But yeah she's low, handles really well nice and tight. Pulls hard, reasonable of the line speed nothing special. Hold gears though and make the charger work and she's a monster haha. Everyone stares at it as I drive along, kind of annoying. But yeah for the price haha loving it. Book dyno this w.e probably get some figures.

ok i have entered the holy shrine ( the glovebox)

and it is literally filled. like you can barely close the thing because it is choccas with receipts.

so i went through them all.

supercharger kit was purchased and fitted by chipmaster $3500

suspension work, power steering, front housing, diff, radiator etc etc almost a receipt for everything. all major ancillery components have been replaced with new units. its crazy.

pacemaker 4499 headers with lukey exhaust $900

full engine rebuild with report, $4200 forged internals etc etc.

literally almost everything has been replaced.

all the work was done at 120,000km's and it now has 151,000kms

literally i cant stop staring at this thing. i cant believe i got it for $4700

i also beat a N/A ba XR6?? so if thats an indication of its speed. pulled a length or 2 on him pretty easily.

BA XR6 NA is nothing special, BA XT with a body kit. Supercharger looks similar to SC14 and if so is too small for the 4.0 I6, which is why no low end and at 4psi is not going to do much.

Just as a reference, this is what a sprintex charger looks like.

http://sprintex.com.au/Superchargers.asp

Maybe yours is an older model...

Either way chuck a different pulley on there and pump some boost into that forged motor ;)

My mate knows the old guy who did the build, apparently it was one of the best custom builds the guy from chipmaster did, it's making/was making 270rwhp in 2005. very unique setup and tune. The build is about 6 years old. It's not a sc14 the charger has the tuners initials in the case. The charger has different internal and stuff apparently and it has been cammed. This thing is chirping second with fresh tread in the dry with kickdown at 80km/h with 235's , it's a really interesting car, don't think this setup has been done before,or atleast it is not common
