Assuming its the EF.. is the car pinging like crazy just before it refuses to push any harder? manual or auto check your fault codes. possible LHM?

If its pinging, not much you can do as your on coil packs.

Bodgy .. But you could fit a Malpasi or Vortic fuel reg / FMU..
Fit colder plugs and retard timing..

I strongly suggest fitting one of these..Retards on boost..Saves engines!!

Or if your on the cheap you could buy an afm interceptor. These usually have a hand held screen for in car adjustment and tuning. It intercepts your afm signal and lets you remap your air and fuel maps to add or remove fuel as you please. The one I had was pretty good. It was a J-CAR kit that you build yourself. I had this in my old TX5 DIY GT25 turbo. Boosted to 10psi and bagged the wheels through all 5 gears.

An ignition retard on pre-det is preferable though.
