hey all, some of you will know me from Boostedfalcon,
thought id post up details of my latest build. standard EL bottom end ported EL tickford head garrett GT4202 custom exhaust manifold and intake plenum 80mm billet throttle body custom Crow cam 5in dump pipe, 4in exhaust with custom muffler stock ECU with TI performance chip with boost Edit program 660cc deka injectors 353rwk on 12psi at 6700rpm BTR auto

thanks TROYMAN, its the developement mule for T.I. performances new Boost mapping program. we can now use the standard ECU and map sensor to run large injectors as with any aftermarket ECU. we now have full spark and fuel maps from 0psi to whatever max boost level you want to run, with overboost fuel cut for safety. works perfectly without the need for 12-1 fuel regs etc

yes, any of the T.I. performance distributors can use the Boost Edit program. its up to them to get in touch with Jason to get the finer points of the program though. copies of the program are available from T.I. performance or myself

fantasic news, amazing development. Well done to all involved.
Are any injectors known to be plug and play for EF EL's that are larger than std and would be ok for <10psi? or would you have to go aftermarket.

I think he is after something he can find at a wrecker for $3 from another car.
Get aftermarket ones. Nothing else will be big enough if your setup is half efficient at 10psi without using a high psi rising rate reg. |

how long till you play catch a conrod or leave ur box on the launch line?

Benny D wrote: 350 rwkw on a std bottm end and thru a std btr?.. thats huge. how long till you play catch a conrod or leave ur box on the launch line? conrods will be fine, power level is bordeline for std pistons, should be fine for a while provided nothing goes wrong. ive been hammering the a** off it for a couple of months though without any signs of damage, had the head off it last week and pistons look good as new. as for the box im suprised its lasted this long, altho my tuner is pretty optimistic about it provided the temps stay low. |
