Typical crap that I would expect from someone on this site, the guy wasnt asking for people who have NOT run water cooling so shut the f**k up.

Most probably you are only running 2 PSI boost.

If you had investigated you would have found rally drivers and other motor sports do use water injection.

This guy is asking a question and I am attempting to answer it for him.

Been running water injection with straight for over a year now.

there will always be abit of hesitation, maybe less with alcohol and water.

Use the finest jet possible and use a hobbs pressure or vacuum switch, depending on if you are forced or Normally aspirated.

Set it to come on somewhere between 3500 rpm or above, whatever suits your need.

Cooling with water alone is not as effective as I was hoping for.

What sort of pump are you running though?
How much pressure?

I am running the CAPA water injection kit, a holden window washer pump system, not sure of the pressure.

Using an alloy tank and pressurizing it with boost helps pump against boost... Meth works better than water.. I would still run an a2a though.. If you want it out of the way just fit a smaller cooler.. If air is too hot ? Then change compressor or lower boost...

Sort of off topic, im told for water injection, that the 'water dispersant' offered at diy car wash bays is able to be put through water injection systems..

Confirmed with guy who runs the place these details; as opposed to tap water having 170 different salts present, there treated bore water has only 5 salts present..

Is this ok to run in water injection, (NA or forced) instead of distilled?

:)

I bought a 600 x 300 x 75 mm PWR air to air front mount intercooler yesterday. So well see how that goes.
