hey guys

is there an easy way to see/find out if ya turbo has f**k it or the fins r f**k?

Im trying to decode whats wrong with my engine as at high boost it has a sound under the bonnet of something loose :(

Have a look at the fins.

They will likely be damaged if something is wrong.

Also you shouldnt be able to move the shaft any more than only very slightly. If it moves and the fins touch the housings it is screwed.

tighten all the manifold bolts and take the heat shielding all off and check the little bolt that is in the bracket and secures the dump pipe to the block.
