Hi all,

Yes that is right I am the proud owner of a BA XR8 Ute. I have had a Busted a** TE cortina that whoopped a Skyline, a EA GL that couldn't catch a push bike rider, an EF that blew away a gen III and a an AU that wasn't much better than the EA. As quick as this car is I WANT MORE!!!!

I must admit I have not been keeping up to date with the V8 section as I didn't think I would be owning one anytime soon.

I would like to know about engine mods (remembering I have only owned 6's) to get it going quicker. I am looking into a Supercharger kit at the moment and have the car booked for exhaust and almsot booked for cam but wanted to see what was said before I booked for cam.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Brice

Contact BPT for their Eaton M112 supercharger kit. The DOHC engines need help in bottom end and this will give it to you. The Centrifugal kits won't help in this area so I'd give them a miss.

Cheers,
Pete.

have a look at what CAPA has for offer. They occasionally have some really good deals on superchargers for late model V8s

Put on a cold air intake and better exhaust and the best $995 you will ever spend will be on the CAPA edit for the ECU. you will be getting you flywheel horsepower at the wheels after those mods and if that dont impress you then go the blower. (Vortec)
