Hi, last couple months my ba xr8 has been running hotter than usual. Had thermostat replaced, radiator unblocked, new radiator cap, and water pump is in good shape. It runs rough when it's cold, has done for a long time. It's mods include extractors, k&n air filter, exhaust, new nolathane difficult bushes. Car ran up to about 1/2 on temp gauge on friday and coolant p****d out onto the road and up through the underside of the bonnet. Am I looking at heads, gaskets or what? And if it's heads, where is a reliable source to get them that's not gonna charge me too much?
Thanks, Amanda

Whatever lol! The radiator was done 12 days ago. Can't see it blocking up again in that time...I'll have my guys look at it again. Hoping to TK test today when and if my mechanic gets to my house today...and can u give me details on a decent supplier for heads or what? Lmao

Maybe, I'll look at it. It's just not making sense with all the symptoms, of which there are others...Just starting to get under my skin with all the money and such I've spent on the car, just to maintain the stinkin thing...

Hmm...No, get a holden lol...GTS
The whole Pony thing, had a 65 and a 2000 GT, the GT while living in the USA. Even under 6 foot of snow, it started and drove like a dream, never a drama. This xr8 thing has given me nothing but headaches lol

Ok. So it seems the thermostat which I just had replaced wasn't opening at 115 degrees! Getting a new one in it. TK test came up good. Most expensive thermostat I've ever had after having the car towed to the mechanic and them doing all their tests. Let's hope this does the trick
