Yep if it was that rich ?? It wouldn't detonate!!
Rich enough to glaze bores that is!!
Timing issue!!!

I don't see how it could be a tuning problem when the damage is in one cylinder... To my knowledge the FLASH and tweecers do not have the ability to do individual cylinder tuning. I'd say the fault lies in either an air leak to one cylinder or as Schnoods said a faulty injector...

Running too rich will wash the bores and cause the rings to glaze, in extreme cases you'll also block the cat converters.

Either way I'd say it needs a rebuild.

i had Consumer Protection to Diagnose the problem and they said it was due to the tune and advanced timing. the piston heads have holes or chips out of them so i belive they told me.

On a NA motor, 12.5-13 is pretty safe, 13.5 is liveable.

On a turbo/boosted car, 11.5-12 at full noise is about as rich as you want it. Any richer and she'll just be blowing smoke and potentially glaze the bores.

If the car was running too lean of a tune, detonation will be evident in most if not all the cylinders...

OK so all the pistons have damage? Withdraw my comments about an airleak.

Was the car tuned in Perth or locally for you?
