Hi guys, new to the forums got a eb v8 that im building.

The original sump has been damaged by previous owner and have scored an AU V8 sump for relatively cheap. Did a search, but couldnt find if an au sump fits an eb? can anyone clarify this?

also, looking into windage trays and crank scraper's. While i got the au sump, is it possible to get these made into the stock au v8 sump without expanding the oil capacity? Just interested as i had it done on my old windsor sump. But these sumps look different. Can it be done?.

cheers

The sumps are all the same. There's no reason why you couldn't make some baffling or crank scrapers fit into the stock sump but increasing the oil capacity is a good idea. You can buy bolt on windage trays similar to the old Boss 302 type that are made to fit common 2 bolt windsor blocks. Unsure who has them now though.
