Hi all,

I'm a newby to this site.

This weekend I bought a 92 EB Fairmont Ghia with a 302 Windsor and - wait for it, 3,500 klms (genuine). It is basically still a brand new car - still has the new car smell! I don't want to alter it too much but would like to beef it up a bit. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

I'd run it in if it before any mods if it really is only 3,500 km's old? Are you sure it's just not a replacement odometer?

WTF!?! If that's the one there would have been no way on this god given earth I would have payed $19,000 odd for an EB! Who cares about the low kms - it would still need work - with such little use you would need to do all rubbers, bushes, mounts ect that have s**t themselves and dried up from hardly any use.

Very nice examplle none the less tho 8-)

Good luck with it mate and hope you enjoy it . . .

Just my 2c.

Cheers

Very nice example mate 8-) I saw this for sale a while ago in the paper...

I'm unsure how familiar you are with these cars, but it will cost a decent amount of money to get alot of power out of it. You would need Exhaust & Headers, Larger MAF, Larger throttle body, decent heads, decent intake manifold, aftermarket roller rockers and a more aggressive cam to be floating around the 200rwkw mark. If I were you I'd whack a exhaust on it so at least it sounds like a v8 and just leave it as that as a very nice clean original cruiser.
