Ok guys, i'm just trying to sort out parts for my windsor build.

First off, timing gear sets!
I have been sifting through summitracing.com, and stumbled upon this..

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

I have been told this is probably the best option, as the chain doesnt stretch and is apparently stronger than the rollmaster?
Anyway, Rocket Ind quoted me $237.40 for the same item, Yes summit is in US dollars, but still quite a price difference.

What's everyone's opinions? go with this one, or would the rollmaster be a better option. P/N: cs3010 is the correct item?

i have decided to go with a crane 2031 cam, which seems to be a good price.

No doubt i'll be adding to this list, as i enquire about more parts, and ask for opinions etc.

thanks all!

The Rollmaster gears are steel, and Ford Racing describes that set as using iron gears. They also state that some sets use steel 'for extra strength'. Seeing as the Rollmasters are all steel and use German JWIS true roller chains that is what I'd run. The 3010 part number is NOT correct for an EFI block, unless you want to repeat t2te50. ;)

thanks EB-5LTR.

alright fella's, now i have even more questions...
yes it doesnt seem like they end :)

with the twin turbo set-up, external waste gate..

- What size wastegate would be suffiecent with low boost?
two 48mm? or too large? i realise the lower the boost, the bigger the wastegate usually needs to be..

- Should i just run a air/air cooler? 600 x 300 x 100, with 3" outlets, or would 2 outlets on oneside and a single on the other be better?
or i have seen some people run 2 seperate coolers for each turbo....

any help would be appareciated all..

with every question, this build gets closer and closer to completion..
oneday!

With the intercooling, it would depend entirely on the amount of boost you plan to run, how you want the cosmetic side of things , location of turbos and managing to squeeze it all into the bay. Can be done with a bit of thinking either way.

Most probably 6 - 8 psi. should i run 3" from cooler to manifold - and 2.5" from turbo's to cooler...

I can really sort that out later really.

i was thinking 2 x Tial 40mm wastegate's would be a good choice?
