Thanks Big Kev,the xb section has been grafted on as I dont think anyone does this as a aftermarket bonnet.Might look at doin a mould of this one.As to cost how big is your wallet.

I like the 5L Cobra badge. Where did you get that and how much?

Im not convinced on the look of the flutes (although it seems to be growing on me already), but each to their own. If they are added onto the top, do they feed air into the engine bay at all, or completely sealed off and there to just look mean?

The badge was laser cut out of 1.5 mm stainless with a backing plate the same shape.Cut the snake out of the badge that came on the cobra manifold and glued it into the cut out shape in the stainless.Stuck the two together and the synringed two pack enamel into the lettering.Cost $35 to get it cut out.Any reasonable design would be possible.
As for the bonnet its the full XB section welded into a EF bonnet(wasnt sure what Kev was meaning),no offence intended Big Kev.
Took the car for a cruise today and had about 80% of people saying they liked it.Cant please everyone but in the flesh I love it,pics dont do it justice.Cost would be between $2000 to $2500 for a panel beater to make one up at a rough guess.

Put the MSD dizzy in a few weeks ago and as soon as the motor got up to temp it would die(great).Pulled dizzy back out and found the steel disc inside was scraping the pick up.Good stuff for a new dizzy.

I have my MSd in, had starting issues the other night, turned out the plug for the dissy wasn't fully seated, i didn't think that 3mm would make a big difference

Chooka
Was your MSD Cutting out as a result of heat. When the motor gets hot, the TFI absorbs the heat, then cuts all spark to the motor. How did you get this sorted. I have had this happen since the heads were done. It is becoming a big pain in the butt
Brett

Yea I had the exact same problem Brett. When I took the dizzy out and gave it a spin by hand I could hear a scraping noise which turned out to be the steel disc hitting on the pick up.It would hit more hot because its steel and the pick up is plastic.
Sent mine back to supplier who sent it back to rocket ind and they've replaced the TFI module and the sensor but I havent had a chance to put it back in to see if I have trouble again.Hope this helps.
