G Day , Could someone tell me the best way to clean surface rust off my extractors.

mine 351 extractors had rust on them too.
i sanded them back, painted them in 2pack primer and they haven't peeled or rusted up yet.

how long ago was that? I could see my seld sanding the outside but the joiny bits would be a huge pain in the a** and I'd dare say that most of it would remain in those areas after the sand. I'd just junk em and get some new one, depending on what they are and go the HPC.

i was gonna blast em but they wouldn't fit in our blaster.
it's probably been 1 and a half years now.
i actually had a look at em today, and there is a small amount of rust around the welds, and where they welded the new exhaust.

Couldnt you use a wire disc on the end of a drill. Thats how i usually clean rust off of my bikes.
