I would like to know if a 91 LE 4speed gear box from a 6 cylinder will fit a V8 just by changing the bell housing. If it wont what would I have to do?

Change input shaft & converter stator support, replace converter, change output shaft & housing. So the I6 trans needs to be completely pulled apart & built as a V8 trans.

Much better to buy a V8 trans
