I HAVE A EF 5 LITRE V8
and the air intake tube into the air filter box seems very restricted, can i replace this easily with another one from perhaps another model ford?
one that would fit without butchering the existing airbox etc and mount up the same as the existing one. and not foul on anything?
without spending a fortune!
any part numbers and costs etc would be appreciated!

Cheers

:P

ps im a newbie here so forgive me if this has already been covered, but i haven't found it.

too muc hot air from a setup like that. you are better off getting an EL XR8 / GT scoop for it. there are copies on ebay for around the $50 mark. would be a good modification

If you can use a drill i would just get an xr6 turbo/xr8 snorkel, drill 2 small holes in the radiator support and use the original snorkle screws to screw it on.
I think i may have trimmed the plastic up to the edge of the holes in the snorkel so it fitted on the radiator support good.
Its pretty basic stuff.
Just fit the snorkel up and you can see what needs to be done to secure it.
