Serial No. d9zc-6394ba. Hoping to do a manual conversion on a cleveland in my XE.. Any info appreciated ie What gearbox fits this, what size flywheel to use with this and what its originally from..

D9 means it was first designed in '79. Don't know what its from but you can see what flywheel by laying a sandwich plate on there. If your sandwich plate is for a 164t flywheel then that's what flywheel you can use otherwise it's for a 157t flywheel.
You really want a hydraulic clutch bellhousing for an XE but it doesn't matter because you can use a hydraulic clutch bearing from the likes of Hays or McCleod instead and it's a better setup anyway.

Cool, heaps a help. Thanks for that.. Bellhousing doesnt have bearing lever so yeah hydraulic setup sounds the go..
