How important is the alternator support bar that runs to the rear of the alternator to the 3rd bolt on the extractors. reason i ask is the 5.0 is nearing completion again and the defillipo's dont allow me to run the stud that usually hold the support in place. Can i delete it, or should i cut the end off and elongate the hole so it sits over the extractor bolt.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Brett

Needs the side skirts, one front guard and the mirrors done. Also a small scrape on the left rear wheel arch.
Then i will be happy to concentrate funding on the 7.0
