Any know what this is? its kinda like a connector but it doesnt seem to come apart but does spin. It has a sprung metal clip that goes over it as well as if to hold it together

That's a fuel line connector. The extra clip over it is extra insurance that it won't come apart when it shouldn't.

a clip?....jeeesus how do you get it apart christ knwos I have just about swung off of it and all i can get it to do is spin...whats the trick??

Cut a 2" section of 15mm thin walled LDPE irrigation tube, then cut it lengthwise, then lengthwise again so that about 3mm width is removed. Slip the remaining tube over the left end of the fuel line and shove it inside the fitting. Then pull the 2 halves apart

xafalcon...as always luv ya work!!!...didnt have any pipe...but thick card board does the trick...cant believe something so simple had me screwed over
