i wanted to supercharge my au s2 xr8 ute.

just wondering if theres anyone thats charged one and can tell me if there easy to install and if you have to mod or remove anything eg: air con etc.... and is the standard bottom end strong enough to take 5psi?

5 psi is perfectly fine, bottom end can take that amount. Can take 9-10psi comfortably but keep it below 300rwk @ 6200rpm or block will split into 2. Kit is easy to install, no modding needed with the au bracket. Eseries bracket i have heard of some require bashing to the body to make it fit. Other then that piss easy to install, just needs a tune and enjoy.

'94 stang kit is actually better suited to an E-series but you should be able to adapt.
You don't mention the impellor trim of the v1 but you should go for a V2 S-trim(SQ if you don't want the gear noise) kit rather than the V1.
It's also setup for drivers side mounting you realise so you'd have to switch sides with the intake unless you fitted a front mount intercooler.

If you want to just bolt on you'd have to go with a crapa kit yes.
I don't like how far out they hang the blower though and it makes it difficult not to restrict the entry to the blower because of it. Even so it will still be easier to fit than a mustang kit.
If It were an E-series you were talking about, I would buy the '94-'95 mustang kit and option a straight discharge blower housing and plumb up a front mount intercooler and stick the battery in the boot.
