Before you go calling the yella terra/herrod blower a joke, keep in mind it is only ever intended as a low boost ADR compliant kit. Changing the pulley and retune has seen numbers as big as the KB's do no worries.

The KB is yet to the ADR compliant-ised. Nothing against Chris at all (I love his work), just don't go writing off a YT blown BOSS it could very well be a beast too (check out CDAA's GT on FFAU).

Is Whipple the same as K.B ?? I have heard bad things about K.B service [Corral forums] if not bought through them.. Not that you would send it to U.S for service...
This kit is enginered etc...

No Whipple and KB are different blowers (both positive displacement types however).

Yet, I don't trust a website with a poorly resized (fuzzy) stock photo, and no photo of the actual product.

Get rid of that cover off your pcm kyle173 they're not good for them.
Went for a ride in Bazza's GT on the weekend. If you want factory quality and driveability from a blown 5.4 BPT the Eaton M122 from BPT is the best kit. With absolutely ridiculous torque everywhere and a peak of 370-380rwkw from only 7psi it's simply stunning.

Mate go to RDP Motorsport (redliffe dyno), you wont find many better up there and steve does both supercharger and single/twin turbo kits for the ba's.

I wasn't calling the Herrod/Yella Terra blower a joke, just mucking around :P Like i said everyone has their own needs so to me the overall value/performance of a Herrod kit doesn't suit me, but for someone that's after something you can barely notice and a bit more grunt it's perfect.

Kyle, if you're serious about this and not a day dreamer, try and see if any of these places have a customers car close to you (or if they are close by) and organise a test drive so you can see which kit suits you best. It's all good for us to try help and offer suggestions and tell you which one we prefer, but at the end of the day you're the one that has to be happy not us. Have you done any research into the charger kits or rung around to see what everyone has to offer?

Just a preview of the Kenne Bell in action, the black ute is Chris' toy, PB of 10.05 with a shot of NOS and stock internals ;)

Hahaha yes he did  But bear in mind that his car has had a hard life from day one and the only reason he dropped a valve was because he put a biiiiit too much NOS to compensate for the weight of a passenger and the rest is history :P But with the punishment Chris has given this thing it's done good to last, it was only a matter of time before something went wrong. From memory he has been running about 640rwkw (could be wrong but i think it was something like that) with a shot of nos on a stock engine, and has also been running 12 psi tunes too

Can't tell you for sure what the figures are for his race tune without gas, but he generally has a 400rwkw tune in it for every day and it has a f**k load of power! For instance, 160km put your foot down and your sideways, and the noise of the blower is f**k horn :)

Yeah, if anything he's proved how much punishment the BOSS can take.

Damn straight, especially in the hands of a good tuner. There are some pretty average tuners out there from well known places who could do with a bit more training

A centrifugal comes in a kit, should all be there right down to the flash tune. Brackets, pullies, intake piping, intercooler ( if buy ic kit) with mounts flash tune and every nut bolt and clamp, injectors, fuel reg.

I love this clip.
