Hi guys the missus brought herself a Fairlane g220 a couple of weeks back and I am looking at exhausts for it. The ones on ebay seem all right but I am unsure of fitment. The exhaust is to suit the SWB Sedan now d can anyone confirm if it is a simple as just welding extra length to it or are they a completely different shape? I can get an XR8 cat back dual 2.5" exhaust for $500 posted is this a good price or could i get one made up for that price. Thanks for the help :D

Send sourbastard a PM. He has a G220 and put a GT exhaust on it. Not sure what he did to do it but it wasn't hard.

yeh i have a XR8 system on mine with about roughly 6inchs of extra pipe in the middle added.

spewing when found out what system it was as i was told no system existed for the fairlanes(half true) cause i hate paying retail when work in the auto parts game.

will be looking at taking the rear can out at some stage give it more of a growl

Sweet as so how much does it improve the car? Is there much difference in power and can you actually hear the car now?
Most of the time I cant even hear it running I ain't putting more fuel through it for it to sound like a 6cyl :D
