Hey all, I recently brought(private sale) a 04 BA V8 fairmont and its done 103k which means its soon due for its 105k service, which im told is a big one. I was wondering where i should take it. Do i have to take it to ford? I'm sure they'll charge a heap. Or an a just take it to the local bloke? Also what will they actually be doin in the service.

I have same issue with WRX's .. Just pay and get it done.. They know everything that can go wrong.. Yes the cost will be more BUT hopefully you'll get better knowledgeable service..
I cannot believe I said that !!

If the plugs haven't been done then make sure who ever does them knows about the correct procedure - they have a habit of seizing in.

have a look in the 3v AFF section for procedures
