I was told that the diff bushes are on the way out on our BAmk2 XR8 on a pre-purchase inspection. The Car has 130,000 on the clock and Im wondering how often this sort if replacement would need to take place at $1200.
Given that there is no audible noise or clunking felt as yet, and it was only picked up visually how long will it last like that before needing replacement and what's the worst case scenario damage it can do?
Thanks. New to the B series and wouldn't have a clue!

Heres a picture of the old girl I love it! So does the fam luckily...

They are a pain in the bum, not too hard to do yourself if you have time and patience, will also help you have the tools. The rear suspension cradle has to come out of the vehicle and that is where the cost comes into it, takes about 5 hours to do the job.

Bushes will cost $66.00 for the main one and $42.00 each for the sides ones.

$1200 seems a bit rich..

I have a superpro comfort bush in mine and its been holding up well so far.. much better option than a standard bush.
Its also a good idea to replace/upgrade the bolt at the same time as they are known to break.

Can a cracked bush cause lateral movement in the rear end of the car? Would this be more noticeable in corners?

xhxrsix where did you get this bush from and what makes it better and more durable then a standard bush? Are you reffering to the diff bushes on your turbo?
