Hi all,

Just bough an EF XR8. Very clean example with 160,000km on the clock.

From what i can see it has some sort of aftermarket headers and a twin 2 1/2inch exhaust.

A friend of mine who is a ford mechanic has told me it has 2x stock 6 cylinder cats on it.

If i change these cats to 3inch highflow ones, say from Venom would i notice any performance gain or exhaust note change?

When i put two new 100cpi cats on mine i noticed a pretty noticeable gain in both sound and "seat in the back" power. Though i did have the twin section lengthend at the same time
