Hi guys,

can anyone tell me off the top of their head what size the pipe either side of the factory cats are on an EL XR8?

thinking about getting some aftermarket ones put in there for a bit more sounds and performance.

If the pipe is say 2.25 inch and I buy 2.5 inch ones can an exhaust shop weld them in still or will the entire exhaust have to be replaced?

Thanks

If he half knows what to do yes.. They have flaring tools for joins..
Yes it makes cat flow better even though they are the same size inside..
If it was mine I would fold 100mm sheet so it's progressive..
Folded like a collector on extractors...
