Definatly not a Gilmer belt!! Or timing gears

I allways use Rollmaster double row chain and find it very good, or if you did have the bucks, the new HTD 8M style timing belt one which makes cam timing adjustments easier, and wallet heaps lighter.

But still cant beat the chain in my opinion :)

how exactly would you use a gilmer belt as a timing belt?

as 408clevo said don't use timing gears, use a good quality double row timing chain, it would have to be a pretty serious race motor to justify the fittment of a timing belt kit..

belt timing kits are available for clevo's windsors etc,
chains the way to go... some are still going after 40 years - try that with a belt

Sorry my bad, spelling mistake.

I ment gilmour drive, like the straight cut gears. The sound of one of them on a tough as nail V8... Heaven.
