Ok before you start... I know there are a million threads but nobody really says what they had to do to make it legal. I have done the conversion already, but what I want to know what happens next when I tell vic roads.
I rang vicroads but they were not much help, the Engineers I have spoken to did'nt really want to know about it.

I have 2/82 XE now with Clevo.
So have any of you guys from Victoria done this in the last 12 months?
What did you do?
Is it as easy as changing front springs and going down and just changing the engine type and number?
Do I need an Engineers crit reguardless?

As far as I know, seeing as the XE was originally built with the clevo, Vicroads won't have any need to complain. Can't see why they would demand any engineer's cert.

Did this 18 months ago, with a 82 XE, just take the car down and do a engine # change, they will want to view the car and new engine #.
