Fellas,

Its driving me crazy!!! What I'm refering to is my clutch fan. I replaced the Physical Clutch Unit on the Fan, due to recommendations, from our mate, whos a mechanic, cause of overheating problems (I can't remember specifically). Since I put the new one on over a year ago, the bloody thing soulds like I have a blower under the bonnet! It was a new unit that I bought, from Walkers Auto 1. Its not a Ford Genuine. Is this the problem? Why, on earth does it sound like that. You can hear the fan at all rev ranges, it doesn't drop off.

You couldn't hear the fan before I replaced it, just the same as you can't on my dads 5ltr. I can barely hear my engine revs anymore. Its as if the fan is at its maximum revs, at engine revs of 2500. Its a pain in the a***. I just want a quiet beast back again. Whats the problem?? What can I do??

Help fellas its giving me Headaches!!
Cheers,
Shannan,
Blue Beast II

(P.S I chucked the old one)

When I put my thermos on, you can buy my clutch hub and try it on yours if you want?

The fan will make a racket when you first start it up and when it detects the right heat coming through your radiator. Perhaps yours is a dud?
