hey guys.. i have got a vcm air box.. and as most of you know the bix just goes behind the head light and pretty much gets stuff all air because of the size of the air coming from the side of the head light.

what have other people changed to get cold air from out side into the air box.. so the car isnt sucking in hot air from the motor???

i have been looking at the ss inductions just as a little extra but thought if as you guys to see what you think and have done..

cheers

BluePower airbox is all you need :) Great results with an awesome growl

I have a dirty big K&N pod filter hiding in there with the pointy end facing my headlight. The box is made of alloy sheet and is sealed using foam rubber. Works very well and sounds good too.

Which airbox do you have? There is no need to for extra snorkles, i doubt there would be any gains by it.

Not trying to be a downer here, but the SS Induction snorkel only gives about 2-3 kw on a standard airbox so on a proper airbox i can't see any gain. Also with the throttle body, you're better off throwing it in the bin before you even fit it, they stuff up and give no increase in power. But good luck with it and post up the results when you get it :)
