Auto's can give up if they have been given a hard life.
Diff support bushes fail in a heavily flogged manual
IRS Cradle outer upper and lower control arm bushes fail
Rust in A Pillars (common AU problem)

Rust everywhere! Au's are worse than EF/L IMO.

Door sills-Door jams too
Bonnet-Underneath leading edge, up near the wiper cowl too
Bootlid
In the recess where the boot struts mount
Edges of front and rear windscreens

67RCE is on the money.

The other risk is that you will fall in love with it and buy it

I'm on the money from experience  I flogged my XR8 and busted diff bushes, my Outer control arm bushes not long got replaced due to failures, and it's a BTR!
