Strange question and one that is probably retarded, but.......

Are there any good coolants (not like tectaloy gold which is actually harmful to your motor I am told) that are green in colour and suitable for the Windsor in an EL?

Yeah ive heard that about tectalloy too. The Ford genuine motorcraft is the one i use and its fantastic, but expensive :( . The stuff Kmart and Big W sells for about $8 a bottle of 5litres isnt too bad either. My mate has been using it for years without a problem. There was a review on today tonight a couple of years back on coolant and the $8 one was better than tectalloy gold at $30 for 1 litre. Hope this helps Cheers

Thanks for that....

isn't the Ford (motorcraft) one red tho??

Call me silly, but I prefer green coolant, it's easier to ID leaks I reckon. ATF and petrol are both pinkish/red in colour too.......

(and to those that would take the piss.........I know petrol smells and ATF is oily, but I still prefer green!)

Motorcraft has both red and green coolants. Green is both anti-freeze and anti-boil, red is just anti-boil i think.

I use the green motorcraft one mainly because I can get it really cheap.
