hey guys had a blonde moment a few months ago and brought a crane 2021 cam (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... 383&N=700+) instead of the 2031 cam from ebay for my eb xr8. I am just wondering if anyone has used this cam and if it will suit my engine.
I have gt40p heads with 1.7 roller rockers.
cheers,
brodie

Brodie if the camshaft you linked to is the one you purchased then unfortunately NO you cannot use it in your engine.

It is a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, not a hydraulic roller. Also it is smaller than the camshaft you have in your engine now.

Give Summit a cll and let them know you made and error and they will be able to fix it straight away for you. They're 12 hrs behind us here in the west, so that must make them 14 behind you?

Cheers for the feedback guys.

Unfortunately I bought the Cam off a private seller on Ebay (I use summits link to show cam specifications) so looks like I'll be chucking it back onto Ebay lol.

Thanks,
Brodie
