Hi i have a old fairlane on gas it has a fuel injected windsor in it i also have a cam for it the number is 621339 i think its a mild cam what would i have to do to put this can in the windsor iv been told by a performace shop that it wont idle right pls help will i get more power the engine has 311,000+ ks but seems very strong does not use oil and goes well.

That cam is nice and mild. You won't have idle problems. The shop that said that is probably used to working on boat anchors that have speed density ECU's which, don't like cam changes.
Honestly I think you should do all the other bolt-on's before you do a cam change. Especially on a high mileage engine. Have a look at the sticky at the top of the forum about V8 mods.

Is there anything special involved in replacing the cam besides removing the pushrods water pump ect ???

Is there a guide on here anywhere :)
