dont know if im going to get any of the changeable setting to be unlocked as im told they can send it to you locked out of those features!

Hey was the one who did the so called custom tune- which keeps going into limp mode, and since i got it back over a year ago from what was then d & J Ruff- splet ROUGH!
Ws ment to make a week i got it back a mth later.......
Was the biggest load of &^%$ ever.... i got it back with the following

- Cracked intake manifold, which i had to get welded up
- in correctly installed Roller rockers i had to get re-installed, didnt set preload in lifters or gap for RR's
- 2 vacum lines un attached
- a blown exhaust manifold gasket
- scratches all over my newly painted rocker covers
- MSD coil blown and spark plugs- my guess is a cross fire and blew the coil, or when he took it for a drive with no MAF?!
- champion spark plugs installed, when the receipt said NGK
- they out sourced the head work, and added $800 &*&^ing bucks to the invoice
- Couldnt tune a 90mm maf
- the timing insnt set correctly
- and the AFR ratio is wrong..... And him and Dave tried telling me it's correctly tuned WTF! With that list of mistakes there is NO way you could get a correct tune!

I wouldnt send my worst enemies car there- i even quit my car club in protest over them becoming new sponsors

my brother had trouble with his nissan patrol TD there, they turned the fuel pressure up and killed the in engine fuel pump....$2400 later.

only other option is lance at auto bahn... just wonders how much experience with 302windsors he has.

iv got a guy from cappa helping me fix my tune now and hes doing it with the stock file.
Hes got it down from full ping all the way at wot to pinging in second under wot. tomorrow hopefully more luck.

On a sad note talking to a capa tech, all we can adjust on the flash tuner for an au s1 v8 is idle speed, rev and speed limiter.

are there any others out there running a custom supplied tune from capa on there au v8?

What about sniper tuners, or unichip??
