I have a 5.0Ltr Tickford out of a Nf Fairlane Ghia.

Is it worth putting it into my EB Falcon to replace its 5.0ltr which is not a tickford

What are the differences between them anything that would make a swap worth while?

Pretty sure none xr8's got the standard HO 5L 165kw motor.

Yep true but the eb/ed tickfords run the standard HO 5L, nothing special at all.

SFA difference between the two mate.

Only thing that would make you wanna do it is if the NF engine has less kms and in better condition.

Both are still E7 heads, HO manifold and cam etc.

The GT's and Sprints use the Cobra engine..
Much the same as the Explorer truck engine in AU's with better cam ..
While a 5.0 runs the E7 heads there won't be too much performance gains.. Tickford didn't realy touch the V8 till the TE series...

Someone just put the badges on there. Wouldn't be Tickford Motor unless someone did an engine change.
