Im new to this site how are we all. I have an issue with my nf fairlane v8 Windsor. Now the problem is the dissy is stuffed so I bought a generic version of ebay it only has two wires coming off it. im pretty sure its got something to do with the plug that went to the modul. am I wrong.

Simple....You bought the wrong one.
TFI-IV distributors have no wires, only the TFI module which plugs into the Hall Effect pickup(3 pins)and bolts to the side which your harness then plugs into.
Btw don't buy cheap ebay dizzies or even MSD ones they're all f**k. Better to buy 2nd hand original Ford ones than any of em.
