I am currently rebuilding my EB11 5lt wagon and have come up against a 'stumbling block.'
I need a pair of GT40x's heads to suit(Windsor).Other than buying from Edelbrock in the states is there a supplier here in Aus that doesn't rip me off. Also a pair of 2 piston calipers and slotted rotors. Any genuine leads would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers Ken.

Hi Ken,

Ok you won't get 40x's from Edelbrock...they'll be from Ford racing. It's unlikely that anyone will even have them here and I don't any that will be priced reasonably. They are sold individually so you could buy one and get a mate to buy one from the U.S. then you get around the $1000 threshold for tax and duty. Otherwise raceparts qld is a Ford racing dealer but not likely to be very inexpensive I think.
Do you realise 2 piston calipers require a different stub axle or at least a modified one?

Thanks for the lead on the gt4p heads, manifold and cam. All appears ok to fit. I am a bit worried about the new extractors bolting up to the gt40p heads and being an EB chassi and body. There are extractors available for gt40p heads but they weren't fitted to an EB.
Any body with some knowledge on this would be appreciated.
Cheers Ken.

Hi Ken,

There are extractors available to fit the p's in E-series like for example Hurricane or Advance. If you want to get better performance however I'd go straight for aftermarket alloy heads like AFR's for example. They already work much better than p's and don't need special headers to fit properly.
