You'd have throuble with the pollution gear and it would also make the car unroadworthy I reckon.

Are you serious or taking the piss?

Besides the fact it wont even come close to fitting as it is for a totally different type of motor , it would be going backwards in a massive way.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!

There are blokes on here who have done what you want to do, but just connected to the stock throttle body leaving the injectors the way they are. You dont need to mount a caby to have the air induction the way your after, just modified work to either mount the shaker or other air induction system.
I was looking at ram induction via the same way your looking at ( through the bonnet) but I heard some stuff about water getting into the engine and also rusting so I left it.

Makes the car illegal for street use. Just get the BA shaker kit.

Because you can't run your electric supercharger.............

Emission laws are the reason.

there are "emission" carby's .. however they were made years ago & do not apply to the ADR laws/regulations your car is now covered by. if you want to do the "shaker" have a look thru the mod pages and i think you will find some have allready done it. if you do the 'carby' and you get pulled over for an inspection, check [or what eva ya wanna call it] your car WILL be defected, meaning you will have to restore the car to its original factory setup.
