Hi,tried to start my car today and it wouldn't crank,no clicking,nothing just silence
It has plenty of power from battery, lights don't dim clock dont reset when trying to crank. Hope someone can help

Hope someone can help Tried the old trick of giving the starter motor a hit with a hammer or something solid. Overtime they can get a little uncooperative. If that doesnt work try getting a mate to start the car while you tap the starter with something. |

Is the starter solenoid wire attached? It comes out of the injector loom at the back of the engine and has a female spade terminal on the end

Could be the good old B.C.M. issue, try holding the key over to the 'start' position and give the lower dash a firm thump just above your left knee. If she fires up, the B.C.M. (Body Control Module, controls Smartlock, interior lights etc..) is playing up.
