Stupid Ford power windows.

So true...I wish I can just get one from a toyota or something and wack them in...at least they'll be a bit more reliable.

1+ vote for EL...sexier then EF.

phong =P~

Interesting. I thought it was just my model. Must've been the weight saving factor. Haha

Looks like I'm a minority group.

Depending on what colour your after !

I think the EL looks better if you are after a bright colour such as red or white, but EF if you are after a dark coloured one.

What ever, you would have to put in EF tail lights (look alot tricker than EL).

EL white gauges & tickford wings tacho is definately choice.

Dont like the EL's gay looking bonnet vents, EF's definately look tougher.

I actually prefer the EF's seat material over the EL.

Everyone has different tastes though.

I would make a choice over an extra 15kw either, as both outputs are pretty sad by todays standards, and need their whole topend & cam replaced to make any decent power.

Could alway mix and match parts to your own tastes, but that would really destroy a good original would'nt it.

are you buying a different car or a new car? New cars arnt 10 years old.

Get a VT2 LS1, quicker than EF or EL XR8, just a few thousand dollars more. Factor in the mods you will eventually spend and your there.

Have a look at the question mate. He asked specifically about EF or EL XR8s cos he likes them. He didn't ask what other kinds of cars we think he should get. I started a thread about LS1s for anyone on this forum who wants to chat freely about them and leave all these other threads relating to Fords about Fords! I hope you enjoy it.

What would a manual el xr8 with 145,000kms in immaculate condition go for out of curiosity?

I am just trying to sort out a price before putting mine up for sale :)

Pictures can be emailed if requested, as I am unsure of how to uplaod photos to this site!

Completely opposite to that. The white and red el's look mean. The bright colours highlight the extra cut in the nose and taper into the headlights.
Where as the the light colours on the EF's look pretty plain jane.

Where as in the dark colours the EL is the uglier twin.
