hello i have a ef xr8 the thermos not working does anyone know where the fuse is

Dude if its the same setup as the 4.0, the fan relays will be in front of the airbox.
There is 4 of them, two four prong and two 5 prong relays.
I would be checking them.
Also put the air con on just to see if the fans still work,easy way to check.

from memory the thermo fan fuse is on the drivers side innerguard next to the battery there is a row of large fuses there..

The fuse should be between the battery and header tank...there is a row of them.

Something also worth checking is the relays. A good test is to start your car cold with the aircon off. The fans shouldnt spin at all. Then turn to a/c on to low speed and the thermo fans will start spinning at low speed. Turn the a/c to high and both thermos will spin at high speed.

There is a tech doco on fordmods that tells you which relays are active at which fan speeds. The relays are infront of the airbox. The doco is a good way to find out which relay is broken.

On the EF XR8 its Right in front of the airbox.

There will be four fuses from memory.
