Keep it all stock and bolt on the Raptor kit that's in my signature :)

No exhaust drone, no engine swaps - instant go and great bang for buck!

As Sean mentioned, these engines go forever. Infact, read through the forums and you'll be hard pressed to find a Windsor that's let go.

You've mentioned your engine doesn't have a dissy, any chance of an under bonnet shot so we know where you're starting from?

Congrats on the twins, don't make the car too quiet get the kids hooked on horsepower early!! :D

Forget about your budget. They always blow out on these things!

Your EF doesn't have a distributor? So it's running coilpacks? Which means it's more than likely got an AU motor already, running off an AU ECU. Are you sure there's no dizzy on the front of the motor? I reckon there might be.

If you're chasing reliability and a bit of a kick in the guts, powerwise, the AU 220 motor is a good option. I think more people haven't had issues with the valve springs than those who have, so the odds are in your favour. If you do decide to want more power down the track, this would be a much better base, also. If your car is running coilpacks, then it's probably one of these motors already, so disregard what I've just said, unless it's a 6!

If you still have the EF ECU in there, then unfortunately there's no support for the Quarterhorse in th EFs just yet, but I'm working on that.

Love the exterior of the car.

Get some 24lb injectors, larger MAF, and a J3 tune, you're away laughing.

No need for bigger injectors yet.

No there isn't, which is why I said that after the links I posted, which you will then need injectors.

They said they wanted to spend around 5g, well theres 5g.

10,000 with an AU T5 ?

It's got 415,000 although the last dash stopped working at 250,000 and this was the only tickford one we could find :/ so it would have done about 300,000 now. Have it booked it to have an au xr8 motor and trans put in and hopefully dash and whole interior. Exhaust system will go on a few weeks after then tinted and a chip dyno tuned. :) then hopefully that's it. It's my fiancés car but he can't drive it as he lost his license and has to go back on his L's and can't drive a v8 on L's and P's! Mwahahaha! Plus isn't the saying what his is mine and what's mine is mine ;)
Yeah we live in burton, on the huge property with rotties might I add ;) haha
