Quick one:
The yellow back canister on the power steering pump, is that supposed to move? I have a pretty bad leak and thought it was the power steering high pressure line, so got the new bolt for it. I have just noticed there is fluid also below the pump and wonder whether thats from the bolt or the canister. If its stuffed: where do I get a seal kit from and how do I remove the pulley?
Cheers guys!

I think i saw the seal kit on ebay. The pump is a Ford C2 Pump, and a quick google should find you directions to rebuild it.

Thanks Nigel. But in your experience, is the rear canister supposed to move? I am hoping the pressure bolt is really shafted. Cheers

Ok. Took that canister off. Can I just say that that is the crappiest design in the world? The canister is only held in place by the big seal around the pump housing and the big bolt that sits on the side... my seal was somehow deflated allowing the canister to move where it felt like and piss oil out. Getting some new seals (they must be close to some standards as they are only rubber rings) from a local bearing place. Pump itself is dry and makes no noise.
Thanks for the help!
