Hey all,

Im driving an auto el xr8 and lately it been running like a dream, until today.

After about 30 mins of driving my car developed a terrible vibration. I eventually nursed it home but cant work out what it is.

Here is what i know.
Its definitetly coming from the engine.
It now has a rough idle.
It gets worse up to around 1500RPM then eases a little then comes back at around 2000RPM
It dosent matter what what gear or wether the car i moving or not.
The power of the car still feels ok and as far as i can tell its running on all cylinders.

Does anyone have any idea on what this could be?? :?

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

Simo

Harmonic Balancer. Replace it before driving again.

No worries mate, I've had a balancer let got on a Windsor myself. They can flog out main bearings if left for even a few days.
