i m curios as to differencebetween old phasers and new ones ive got my g220 in bits it has got a seised roller rocker and trashed the cam i dont know weather to put the old phaser on or not

one of the timing chain giudes that i got {metal ones} doesnt fit{LH bank} all of the gides are the same bar the lh fixed giud still trying to get a metal one

as 4 the phasers, the later ones have 2 lodge pins on the phaser spring, and it is wond a extra 180 degres around the phaser, and is skinner and also has a different j clip, which is the end of the spring were it is bent to hold onto to first lodge pin, both lode pins are part of the bolt which goes through and holds the back plate on the back of the phaser, the early ones only have one the late have two

is this thing running yet ive got a 5.4 3v v8 ba fairmont ghia with FRPP hot rod cams full exhaust no crossovers 20% underdrives and made 310rwhp on 95 octane fuel and rev limiter to 5400 ive since then got some crossovers and that made it feel like it pull so much harder and also getting BPR CAI and doing a injector and spark plug change and rev limiter to 5800 and bp 98 i reackon 350rwhp is looking pretty achievable

also have 3.9s

hey mate got it done at bpt but i wouldnt recommend them im not goin back for a re tune im goin to xft there much easier to talk to

really? i heard xft only like to do turbo 6.

How much xft charge for a custom tune around 1300?

nah mate they do everything simon who does the tuning has a fg xr8 himself and i know plenty ford 3v/4v v8s that have had it tuned there and only ever said good things about simon and xft they charge 1200 for custom tune and the flash tuner im pretty sure

Are they ezy to use? and can they do as many adjustments on the Xcal as on the sniper boxs?

i havnt used them myself but ive seen been used look really easy to use and id rather the xcall unit for sure only advantage sniper has over xcall is that if you want to use the tuner for a another car such as my old mans car it can use up to 5 different tunes on the one tuner but xcall will only use one car and you can they same adjustments on xcal as sniper boxs if not more
