Ride: AU XR8 220 Manual

Hi guys,

I have a 185kw EL XR8 with basic exhaust and intake mods as well as an AU MAF with e series electronic and the factory explorer manifold of course.

I got my self a set of yella terra roller rockers (1.7s) that I want to fit. I have sourced a set of taller rocker covers and a 1/2 inch phenolic spacer.

Anything else I need to knwo for the conversion? Any piston to valve clearance issues? Will the factory push rods be ok?

Will they bolt to the E7s without modification? What gains shoudl I expect?

Thanks!!

Not worth the effort of fitting them while you are still running E7's.
Get some GT40P's at a minimum and then fit them up.
Not point getting higher lift on the cam when the heads simply cannot flow the air.

More people paid for a ride in a VT commodore then an AU Falcon so the VT is superior.
Based on that fact my Mum is the best around!
