G'day,
I haven't done a V8 yet(going to do my Pursuit when I fit the intercooler) but I suspect they are very similar. I did our work BF wagon...
Bout the only PITA bit was getting at the A/C condensor mount bolts(the ones shown in step 4) undone...they actually bolt to the radiator rather than having their own mounts. Those scrivet things are s**t too.
Ideally you need a long extension so you can get at them from out from outside the bumper. The rest is a Piece-o-piss.

Btw look at the difference between a 6cyl and V8 radiator, the core is basically twice as thick...
Most radiator shops only sell the V8 one which is what we put in our BF 4.0L wagon.

brought some fancy a** all alloy radiator off evilbay, it failed, got it replaced for free with another, that also failed then just got a standard replacement and a refund for the alloy one. both failed at the same spot and each at about the 1 month mark.

ended up getting a radiator swap down to just under a hour
was all done on a lunch break. :P

No wuckers!
$850 !?!?!? what a f**k ripoff.
I can get the radiator from Natrad for $190. and as I said they only stock the V8 one.
Ya gotta watch that ebay crap or gumtree. I know a guy that lunched a rebuilt diesel engine because of a s**t brand radiator off gumtree.

Ahh good. Mines a Jayrad brand which is apparently the same factory where the original Denso brand ones come from.
